Announcements for Fri. 4/28/2017

  • Yearbooks are on sale as we speak.  They are $45.  Forms are available in the library or the main office.  Order yours today before they sell out!
  • Cheer Tryouts for Landstown High School Fall Sideline Season will be held May 15th through May 18th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the small gym at Landstown High School.  Any interested 8th grade students attending Landstown in the Fall can pick up information from the front office.
  • The JETS boys and girls track team has their first home meet today after school.  If you have never attended a meet, come out and be amazed at the skill and talent of our athletes.  Hope to see you there!

  • Get ready to get up and move with Body Combat, Zumba, Healthy Eating Sessions and so much more. FCCLA is sponsoring our annual Get up and Get Moving event on Friday, May 19th.  This is a free event for students, teachers and staff.  So Save the Date and stay tuned for more information.

  • Did you know that Corporate Landing Middle School has 247 military connected students? For Month of the Military Child, the SCA Officers and SCA Garden Committee will be honoring these students by creating an installation at the front entrance of the school in the SCA Ashley McClure Memorial Garden.  We will create a sea of 247 American flags, with one flag representing each student.  Please take a moment to peek at the flags this week, and say “thank you” to a peer who sacrifices so much for our country and freedom.
  • Happy Earth Day! Did you know that the world’s oldest tree is 4,600 years old?  Did you know that humans have destroyed 80% of the Earth’s forest and 40% of the tropical rainforest?  Do your part to take of Mother Earth!  Sign the Earth Day Pledge today and get an Earth Day sticker.
