Announcements for Mon. 12/5/2016

  • The CLMS Video Club will meet tomorrow after school in computer lab D-19.
  • Running Club will meet tomorrow only this week.  Again, Running Club will meet tomorrow only this week.
  • Field hockey intramurals will begin this Wednesday.  Any interested girls should meet outside the gym.  Dress warmly and bring field hockey equipment if you have it.
  • The STEM Robotics Club will meet this Wednesday after school in Room B-2.  We will be learning the RaspberryPi Code for programming our robots this year.  Questions: See Mrs. Smith in B-2.
  • The Scholastic Book Fair runs through Wednesday. Students with a means of payment should come to the book fair with a signed pass or planner.  Tuesday and Wednesday are scheduled for family nights from 5pm to 7pm.
  • Are you interested in learning more about leadership? The next SCA City-Wide meeting is on Wednesday, Dec. 7th after school.  If you are interested in going, pick up a permission slip from the main office.  Permission slips are due by tomorrow so do not delay. Return them to Mrs. Filio, 7th grade guidance counselor.
  • The PTA is selling “Holiday Lights at the Beach” for $8. Purchase your ticket with an order form from your homeroom teacher or in room C-25 (the AVID classroom).  Support the PTA and enjoy a festival of lights!
  • Make-Up Picture Day will be on Thursday, December 15th in the cafeteria during all lunches.  If you still need to take your picture, go to the photographer during your lunch. You do not need to order pictures to get your picture taken for the yearbook.  If you want to purchase your pictures, order forms are in the main office. Give your order form and money to the photographer.  This is the final picture day for the yearbook.
