  • Tryouts for Boys' and Girls' Soccer, Football, and One Act Play will begin on Monday, August 28th at 4PM. Tryouts will run all week from 4PM to 6PM.

  • Parent Open Houses will be held at 6:00 PM on the following dates:

Morning Announcements

Announcements for Thu. 6/15/2017

  • Everyone who receives a beach bag will need to pick it up this afternoon at 3pm in Room D-12.
  • Senora Thornton’s Spanish 1 students:  Make sure you return your textbooks immediately!
  • All students:  All library books need to be returned as soon as possible.  Drop them off in the library or in the drop box if the library is closed.
  • 8th graders:  If you are returning any items because you didn’t have them at laptop check-in, please do so in D-16 after announcements.
  • 6th and 7th graders:  If you have a loaner laptop checked out for the year, it is time to return it to D23 and do not forget your charger.
  • 6th and 7th graders:  If you would like to check out books over the summer, come up to the library in the afternoon after testing for a permission slip and reading log.  Return your log in September and join us for a special celebration.
  • And don’t forget the Summer Reading Challenge and teen activities at your public libraries.  Come check out the flyers outside your school library.
  • Students:  If you are expunging a grade this year, make sure you turn your form in ASAP.
  • Yearbooks are on sale tomorrow morning in the atrium for $50 cash only.  This is your last opportunity to get a yearbook!
  • Students:  please do not write inappropriate comments in yearbooks; comments should be positive in nature.  If you feel you cannot write something appropriate, do not write anything at all.

  • The Advanced Technology Center’s Open House is on Tuesday, January 5th at 5:30pm. If you want to find out how to take classes on a college campus while in high school, then please attend. Questions, see your school counselor.

  • 8th grade writers, authors, and poets! The CLMS 8th grade Writing Club will meet today afterschool in Room C17. All interested 8th graders are welcome.
  • Attention 8th grade students.  IF you are interested in working on your academy application, come to room D18 today during your Refuel.  Please check in with your Refuel teacher first.
  • The Christmas Dr. Who club will meet today after school. 
  • There will be no Running Club until Tuesday, January 5th.  Run or walk on your own over the holiday break!
  • Yearbooks are $45.  Get yours before the price increases next year!
