Tryouts for Baseball, Softball, Field Hockey, Track, and Forensics will begin on March 27th.  Activity buses will run at 6PM from March 27th through April 6th.  Students must have a current VBMSL physical on file in the student activities office prior to the first day of tryouts.  Students trying out for Forensics do not need a physical.

Announcements for Fri. 3/24/2017

  • The Princess Anne Public Library has many teen programs available during the month of April.  Come to your library and learn more some of these awesome activities!
  • Attention all girls! The Beach Girls Rock event is tomorrow at Cox HS.  Hope some of you will be attending!
  • All students:  If you plan to try out for Baseball, Softball, Field hockey, or Track, you must have a physical on file.  If you are unsure, check the list outside the cafeteria.  You may NOT tryout without a physical – no exceptions!  See Ms. Keough with questions.
  • Tryouts begin on Monday, March 27th for Baseball, Softball, Field hockey, and Track.  Listen carefully for specific sport tryout days and dates.
  • Track tryouts is for boys only on Monday and girls only on Tuesday.  Again, track tryouts is for boys only on Monday and girls only on Tuesday.
  • Baseball tryouts is for ALL grade levels on Monday. Bring all necessary equipment which includes, a change of clothes (no shorts), your baseball glove, cleats, and a bat and helmet if you have them. If your equipment bag will not fit in your locker, bring it to Coach Peterson in the gym Monday morning. Questions: see Coach Peterson or Coach Raburn.
  • All girls trying out for softball need to meet in the back gym, dressed and ready to go no later than 4:05 starting on Monday.
  • All girls trying out for field hockey should bring a stick, cleats, goggles, and shin guards if you have them and meet on the field hockey field at 4:00.
  • Do you enjoy public speaking, expressing your opinion, reading poetry, or duet acting?  If you do, the Forensic Team is for you!  Tryouts are Monday through Friday, March 27th through the 31st in room C15.  Come join the fun!
